Hair Growth Oils
Natural black hair growth is something that everyone would love to have. However, black hair naturally has a dry condition and it requires special care.
This is especially true for African-American women who have a hard time growing their hair to the lengths that they want. Despite these challenges, there are some techniques that can help improve the growth of black hair, and these methods need not be expensive.
the PH balance of black hair must stay around 4.0 to 7.0 pH in order to avoid the hair shaft from becoming to far alkaline or acidic. Having the proper balance with the hair care products you use such as conditioners and shampoos will make a big difference between your hair being dry and brittle or soft and manageable.
Organic Aloe Juice -
The use of Aloe Vera Juice can actually help your afro texture hair cuticles to stay closed sealing in moisture. Once you start your natural hair journey and transition from relaxed hair one of the things you will notice is that moisture is the lifeline of growing longer stronger hair and retaining length.
Benefits of Castor Oil on Hair-
This is heavy oil that is one of the best sealants because of its structure. It conditions the hair giving it the strength and resilience it needs to stand up to daily care. It promotes hair growth, moisturizes the hair, hair appears thicker with consistent use, and helps tames frizz
Benefits of Coconut Oil on Hair
Coconut oil has been hyped as an excellent hair oil for eons but what makes it different from any other oil is the fact that coconut oil is a triglyceride of lauric acid. It has a high affinity for hair proteins and, because of its low molecular weight and straight linear chain, is able to penetrate inside the hair shaft.
This is why you will hear it occasionally described (in hair care) as the only moisturizing oil. That’s not strictly accurate as the word moisture would imply the presence of water so it would be better described as the best conditioning oil. Coconut oil was the only oil found to remarkably reduce the protein loss for both damaged and undamaged hair when used as a pre-wash and post-wash grooming product.
That is why it is in so many of Nzuri's hair care products. We also use pure, unrefined virgin coconut oil that are not hydrogenated. Avoid using products that will strip away your natural oils. Once you use moisture rich hair products to seal the hair shaft your daily routines will take less time and your hair's luster and shine will last longer.
